Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Storage Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our storage facility. In this vital role, you will ensure smooth management of storage units, maintain excellent customer service, and uphold safety and security standards. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency, foster positive client relationships, and support the overall success of our storage services.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the storage facility, including unit rentals, returns, and maintenance
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries, reservations, and payments
Conduct data entry accurately into management software systems such as Yardi or similar platforms
Oversee administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and reporting to ensure compliance and efficiency
Maintain phone etiquette when handling calls from customers, vendors, or team members
Upsell additional storage options or services to maximize revenue opportunities
Ensure facility security by monitoring access points, conducting regular inspections, and enforcing safety protocols

Requirements

Proven experience with office administration, data entry, or facility management roles
Familiarity with Yardi property management software or similar systems is highly preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and administrative tasks
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Previous experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus
Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety standards within storage facilities

Pay: £54,000.00 per year
