At Connexus, we're committed to creating great places to live and work. As our new People Development and Engagement Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping colleague experience, building organisational capability and supporting the delivery of our People Strategy and Corporate Plan.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people professional who is passionate about engagement, learning, leadership development and culture change. You'll work closely with senior leaders and managers to create impactful solutions that improve colleague performance, strengthen leadership capability and ultimately enhance outcomes for our customers.
You will act as a trusted partner to leaders across the organisation, helping to design and deliver initiatives that increase engagement, develop talent and embed our organisational values and behaviours. Key responsibilities include:

Leading the delivery of colleague engagement activities, including surveys, pulse checks and action planning.

Partnering with leaders to improve engagement, performance and team effectiveness.

Designing and delivering leadership and management development programmes.
-
Supporting aspiring leaders and future talent pipelines.

Driving culture and behaviour change through the implementation of our Skills & Behaviour Framework, values and Performance Development Review process.

Co-designing and delivering our Customer First programme to embed exceptional service behaviours.

Developing clear career pathways and development opportunities for colleagues.

Using insight, data and feedback to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.

Supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and wellbeing initiatives through targeted development and engagement activity.

Providing practical, business-focused advice and challenging constructively when learning is not the right solution.
About you
We're looking for someone who can build credibility quickly, influence senior stakeholders and translate strategy into meaningful action. You will have:

Experience in learning and development, employee engagement, organisational development and/or culture change.

Strong facilitation, coaching and consulting skills.

Experience leading engagement surveys, analysing insights and driving action plans.
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
-
The ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.
-
Experience designing and implementing leadership development programmes.
-
Confidence using learning systems, survey tools and people data to inform decision-making.
-
A creative, proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
-
The flexibility to travel and work both remotely and on-site when required.
Qualifications
You will ideally hold:
-
A qualification in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Employee Engagement, or Coaching (such as CIPD Level 5), or have equivalent experience.

Evidence of ongoing professional development.
