NHS Fife is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management Team. This is a fantastic chance to join the Medicines Management Team and assist in the delivery of NHS Fife Medicines Optimisation programme.
As a Pharmacy Technician in Medicines Management, your role will be to assist the Pharmacist in management of the team of a 3 Pharmacy Support Workers to work on designated projects as part of the Medicines optimisation programme. As the Pharmacy Technician in this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Medicines Optimisation Project Implementation Guides are followed and that switches are carried out in a safe and effective manner.

You will:

Assist in delivering the Medicines Optimisation projects as part of the NHS Fife Medicines Optimisation plan

Line manage a team of staff to deliver the work as set out with your line manager.

Provide Evidence Based Medicines Optimisation

Support safe, effective and costeffective prescribing
Fulltime hours are available (37h), with parttime options considered.
