Exciting Opportunity: Driver/Dispatch Coordinator for Crane and plant hire firm, Blantyre
GGR Group Ltd is seeking a highly motivated individual, who will be a good all-rounder and team player. You will need to be able to load and unload vehicles and produce documentation to dispatch/goods in, including adding and updating information on our Information systems. you will also be required to carry out the delivery and collection of GGR Equipment to and from site, for this you will need to be a reliable, committed driver. Previous experience delivering plant and knowledge of safe loading procedures.

Key responsibilities:
- Managing and assisting in the loading/unloading of vehicles and tie-down of equipment including manual handling equipment as required
- Marshalling Vehicles around the yard
- Goods-in of hire Plant
- Dispatch of hire Plant
- Recording of missing Items and damages to Plant
- Exchange of Plant
- Office administration
- Liaising with the hire team on all hires
- Delivery and collection of goods to and from customers
- Loading and unloading goods onto vehicles safely and accurately, ensuring that goods are secured and transited in a safe manner to/from the customer
- Good geographical knowledge of the Central Belt
- Compliance with Tachograph Legislation and Transport Working Time Regulations
- Maintaining all aspects of vehicles care including fueling and cleaning
- Adhering to company policy and procedures relating to Health and Safety and security
- Flexibility to work overtime where necessary (Delivery / Collection times can vary at short notice)
- To maintain and improve health & safety in the workplace
- All other workshop duties as deemed necessary
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Essential
· Need to hold a clean, current HGV driving license, a digital tachograph card, completed driver CPC
· Have exceptional people/communication skills
· Be able to work under pressure
· Have excellent attention to detail
· Have good numeracy and literacy skills
· Dispatch experience
· Experience of Loading/Unloading Plant/Machinery
· Manual Handling experience
· Computer Literate
· Driving Licence
Desirable
· Vehicle Marshalling Qualification
· Forklift Truck Licence
Job Terms
Working Hours – Monday-Friday. 8.30am – 5.30pm
