Office-based | Polegate, East Sussex

Shivers Group Ltd is a growing specialist company supporting, operating and developing data centres and critical infrastructure. We work on mission-critical mechanical and cooling solutions for Tier III/IV facilities and large-scale plant across the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a reliable, organised Administration Assistant to join our office-based team in Polegate and provide essential day-to-day support as the business continues to expand.

The Role

You will be a key part of the administrative backbone of the company, helping keep projects, clients and engineers running smoothly. The role is varied and hands-on, combining client-facing support with practical internal coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Responding to and managing client queries in a professional and timely manner
Assisting engineers with paperwork, documentation and deadline tracking
Organising international travel, including flights, accommodation and related arrangements
Providing mild credit control support where required to assist the team and clients
General office administration and coordination to support the wider team

About You

You will be well-organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy, growing environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks are essential. Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally within a technical, engineering or construction-related business) would be an advantage, though a willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude are equally important.

Location

This is a full-time, office-based role at our premises in Polegate, East Sussex.
