Full job description

We are recruiting this Spring ready for a busy year ahead. We are looking for new members to join our growing team.

COMPETITIVE & NEGOTIABLE HOURLY RATES OF PAY. EXCELLENT PAY for the right candidate. Salary discussed upon application
Full time: 5 days
Set days each week, no shift change/rotation - NO SPLIT SHIFTS
5pm finish

You will be responsible for

Packing our homemade cakes, bakery items and fresh foods
Assisting our team of bakers
Prepping fresh foods, sandwiches & salads
Assisting our team of chefs producing our homemade ready meals and foods for shop floor retail

You must be able to

work within a team
work and communicate well with others
Must take pride in delivering high standards of cooking
Have an excellent attention to detail
follow all procedures and practice excellent hygiene practices
Must enjoy working in a busy, fast paced, buzzing environment

Located on our ground floor, our food hall is a fresh and unique food paradise. Our fresh food counters take centre stage, all filled with our home reared meats from out in-house butchery department, and home made pies, cakes and much more.

Excellent opportunity to work within our growing award-winning kitchen. All our meals and produce are prepared fresh in our kitchen using our home reared meats and quality fresh produce. Our cooks produce fresh food for both our kitchen, and for our fresh food counter in food hall to the highest standards.

Attention to detail is key. Candidates require to be able to work within in a team and well with others. Must enjoy working in a busy environment, and take pride in delivery high standards of customer service.

Training given on the job, and is ongoing throughout your time at Mainsgill.

Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour
