About the Role

We are seeking a dual-skilled Receptionist / Reservationist to be the welcoming face and voice of our hotel. In this role, you will split your time between managing the front desk—checking guests in and out—and handling incoming room, table, and event reservations via phone and email. You will ensure a seamless guest journey from the initial booking to departure.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Excellence: Welcome arriving guests warmly, manage check-ins/check-outs, and issue room keys efficiently.
Reservations Management: Process accommodation, dining, and event bookings accurately using our Property Management System (PMS).
Guest Queries: Act as a central point of information, answering phone calls, handling emails, and providing local recommendations.
Billing & Payments: Process guest bills, handle cash and card payments securely, and complete accurate shift handovers.
Cross-Department Communication: Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready on time.

About You

Experience: Previous reception or reservations experience in a hotel or corporate environment is highly desirable.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems, emails, and booking software (experience with hotel PMS systems is a plus).
Communication: Exceptional telephone manner, written English, and face-to-face interpersonal skills.
Organisation: Brilliant multi-tasking skills with the ability to stay calm and organized during busy check-in windows.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
