Facilities Manager

(Full time or Self-employed)
Salary/Service Fee: To be discussed

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain all property facilities, mechanical/electrical/smart systems in the employer’s residence, including but not limited to: lifts, water pressure & temperature, underfloor heating, fireplaces, IT equipment, appliances, security systems, gardens & irrigation, spa & pool, wine cellar, etc. – ensuring all systems operate properly.
Oversee routine inspections and maintenance of all equipment and systems; develop annual maintenance plans, budgets, and manage maintenance contracts (from signing to execution); follow up on commissioning, testing, and acceptance after maintenance work.
Manage the performance of all subcontractors, including supplier selection, quote evaluation, contract signing, scheduling of maintenance, and tracking of payments.
Promptly respond to communications and coordination with the local council, insurers, planning authorities, neighbours, and the community as required.
Carry out other tasks assigned by the employer.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an engineering/property manager in a five-star hotel or high-end private residence; familiar with routine fault diagnosis and basic repair of standard systems in premium private homes; comprehensive understanding of technical features, functions, and operation of all systems.
Relevant certifications in electrical repair, plumbing, IT equipment, smart systems, or similar fields preferred.
Strong sense of confidentiality.
Proven experience in cooperating with and managing multiple contractors; good cost control awareness, able to provide professional advice on maintenance service costs.
Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English (both working languages).
Eligible to work in the UK legally.

Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
