Duties
- Perform welding operations using various techniques to join metal parts according to detailed schematics and technical drawings
- Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical components within machinery
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to control automated welding processes and machinery functions
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical components to ensure optimal performance
- Supervise junior welders or team members during projects, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to review project specifications and improve welding procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and maintenance activities for quality assurance
Experience
- Proven experience in welding across diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel with a strong understanding of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Familiarity with interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams for precise fabrication work
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems and working with PLCs in industrial settings
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance, assembly, and repair processes
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration
- Customer service orientation with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external clients when needed
