Due to expansion, we are seeking a new Customs Clearance Agent to join our established customs team.

Please note:
- Experience of ASM Sequoia or CONEX is desirable
- This position has a rotating shift pattern: Monday - Friday, Week 1: 07:00 - 16:00, week 2: 08:30 – 17:30, week 3: 10:00 - 19:00
Main duties:
- Creating Import and Export documents via ASM Sequoia
- Conforming to HM Revenue & Customs regulations
- Ensuring all HM Revenue & Customs duty liabilities are fulfilled
- Liaising with, customers, suppliers, necessary agents, and customs authorities
- Raising necessary paperwork concerning all movements of Dangerous Goods
Desirable skills:
- At least 2 years’ experience raising exports and/or imports and/or customs compliance using ASM Sequoia or CONEX
- Understanding of UK & EU imports customs requirements
- Experience using customs systems (e.g. CDS, CNS, Destin 8, Sequoia, CONEX)
- Proven ability to deal with customs procedure codes and specialist customs procedures, including CFSP and Transit
