Online Retail Customer Service Assistant

John Greed Jewellery is an online jewellery retailer that dispatches all of our orders from our Lincoln warehouse.

Location: Firth Road Warehouse, Lincoln
Pay: £14.01 per hour
Working Hour: ranging between 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week
Contract: Casual (Christmas Peak Season September to December)

The Festive Perks

£14.01 per hour
Casual contract for the Christmas peak period
Shifts available up to 45 hours per week

Available Roles Customer Service Assistant (Firth Road Warehouse)

Supporting customers via email and other communication channels
Resolving customer queries professionally
Working closely with warehouse and other departments
Providing an excellent customer experience
Assisting customers with order tracking and status inquiries
Processing returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy
Handling customer enquiries about product details and availability
Managing customer feedback and complaints with a focus on quick resolution
Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and communication history

Your Working Environment

Our workplace is a high-energy, fast-paced environment where unwavering commitment and tireless dedication are the keys to our success. It is important to note that this is not a massive, impersonal warehouse operation; instead, we are a specialised site focused on the careful picking, packing, and personalising of individual jewellery items for our online customers. While our Customer Service team operates from a dedicated office space within our Firth Road warehouse site, the surrounding area is highly active during our peak season and can get loud and busy. We expect a formidable work ethic from every team member as we strive for excellence. While we pride ourselves on being a supportive and inclusive family that feels like home, we are united by a relentless drive to work hard and deliver Christmas joy.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for hardworking new team members who are:

Clear and professional in both written and verbal communication, ensuring every customer feels heard and valued
Patient and empathetic when resolving complex customer enquiries, maintaining a friendly and helpful tone even under pressure
Proficient with digital communication tools and email platforms to provide swift, accurate support
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple customer requests efficiently without compromising on quality
Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive customer information and maintaining data privacy
Dedicated team players who are exceptionally reliable and committed to delivering Christmas joy to our customers

Previous warehouse or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
