About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join our People Services team on a 9 month fixed term contract or secondment.
Reporting to the Head of People Services, you'll play an important role in delivering a proactive, high quality people service across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your HR career, broaden your experience and contribute to a positive, inclusive and high performing workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, you will:
- Provide advice and guidance on a range of people matters, including employee relations, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Support employee relations casework, with guidance and support where appropriate.
- Contribute to the delivery of key People Plan initiatives, including wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and leadership development.
- Champion a culture of wellbeing and inclusion across the organisation.
- Help ensure People policies, procedures and employment legislation are applied consistently and fairly.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve people practices and outcomes.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a generalist HR/People role and is keen to continue developing their knowledge and skills.
- Has a good understanding of employment law and HR best practice, with the confidence to apply this in day-to-day situations.
- Enjoys building positive relationships and supporting managers with people matters.
- Has excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Holds, or is working towards, a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Is passionate about creating positive, inclusive workplaces where people can thrive.
Experience within education or the public sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
