Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Polythene Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining polythene extrusion machinery to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate film extrusion lines.
- Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as required.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine adjustments.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Change raw materials and manage material usage efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to achieve production targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating polythene extrusion machinery is essential.
- Knowledge of blown film extrusion processes preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve production and quality issues.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts where required.
