You will have opportunities to progress your career with a structured learning journey and clearly defined career pathways that will enable you to achieve your long-term goals and work to your strengths.
Role Responsibility
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will work flexibly across Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership supporting individuals who are arrested for drug and alcohol related offending and deliver brief interventions and engaging them into treatment.
You will also be the lead Recovery Worker for our Out of Court Disposals. Similar to ‘speed awareness sessions,’ you will deliver between one and six sessions predominantly in groups (including online groups) aiming to prevent escalation in substance use and offending.
Day-to-day you will work alongside an Advanced Practitioner, another Recovery Worker and an administrator under the guidance of our Criminal Justice Team Manager and Team Leader. You will also work very closely with Police, local prisons and NHS Liaison and Diversion colleagues within the custody suites.
Please note, this role is co-located at LRP’s Lincoln Hub and Lincoln Probation office.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator, efficient and organised and have a real passion for supporting service users to engage in treatment. You must be engaging, enthusiastic and passionate, have a keen interest in the Criminal Justice System and willingness to work with offenders.
