Overview
We have been driving manufacturing innovation for over 27 years, over the last 12 months, we upgraded our operations by transitioning to NetSuite, and we are now looking for a capable professional to step into this role to replace a leaver within our close-knit, four-person finance team. You will take total ownership of our daily processing and bank reconciliations, finding smarter ways to optimize how we bed-in our new software. This is a highly collaborative role designed for long-term security; you will be actively supported to cross-train in payroll and management accounts, expanding your skill set while ensuring our team eliminates any single point of failure.
What You’ll Do (Accountabilities)
- Execute fast and flawless transactional data processing to keep our primary ledgers completely accurate and up to date within 72 hours.
- Reconcile bank accounts, company card statements, and digital transactions within NetSuite to ensure our system perfectly matches reality at all times.
- Optimize our newly implemented NetSuite workflows, finding smarter and more efficient ways to handle daily processing and ledger routines.
- Cross-train in business-critical financial areas—such as payroll and management accounts—to build deep operational resilience across our small team.
- Audit the ledgers regularly to catch system errors early, spot skipped invoices, and resolve internal or supplier questions quickly.
- Manage the central finance inbox as the primary gatekeeper, protecting the wider team from constant interruptions and ensuring supplier queries are answered rapidly.
