Dolphin Mobility East Midlands Ltd

Dolphin Mobility East Midlands Ltd is a family-run business specialising in the supply and installation of mobility and lifting equipment, including stairlifts, home lifts, ceiling track hoists, step lifts, and ramping solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time temporary basis to provide cover during a period of absence. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am to 4:00pm
1-hour lunch break each day

Salary

£24,200 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Essential Requirements

Previous bookkeeping and accounts experience
Working knowledge of Sage Accounts software
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Sales ledger and purchase ledger processing
Bank reconciliations
Credit control
Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
Maintaining company ledgers
Preparing financial information for year-end accounts
Weekly payment runs
Dealing with customer and supplier queries
CIS posting and administration
Report processing and reconciliation

As we are a small, busy office, the successful candidate must be willing to support colleagues with general administrative and ad hoc tasks as required.

Based at our office in Lincoln.
