Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for providing excellent patient care and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to delivering high-quality dental services while developing your skills within a supportive team.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary
Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Maintain accurate patient records and update information using IT systems
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide information about dental services
Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, processing payments, and filing
Coordinate with dental practitioners and staff to ensure seamless clinic operations
Support patient care by providing clear communication and addressing any concerns or questions

Requirements

Proven experience in a reception or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
Knowledge of IT systems and dental practice management software is advantageous
Compassionate attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care
Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professionalism at all times
Previous experience in nursing or patient care roles
