Job Title: Finance Administration Assistant
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time 8.30-17.00 Monday to Friday
Branch Location: Newark
Reports To: Financial Controller
To provide efficient financial and administrative support to the business, ensuring accurate record keeping, timely processing of financial information, and smooth day-to-day office administration.
Day to day duties will include:-
- Assisting with Credit Control and chasing for payment advice
- Reconciling daily petty cash from depots
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing credit card payments by telephone
- Managing incoming calls, emails and general correspondence
- Processing new customer Credit Account application
- Requesting account trade references
- Checking credit scores for new and current customers
- Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a finance/accounts or administration role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
