QA Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven QA Manager to take the lead on site quality standards at our Grove Road location.
This is a key leadership role, working closely with operational and technical teams to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of products. You will play a central role in embedding a strong food safety and quality culture, while supporting the business in meeting internal standards and customer expectations.
Job Purpose
To act as the dedicated Quality lead on site, ensuring the safety, authenticity, and quality of products manufactured, while maintaining compliance with business standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Main Duties:
- Provide strong quality leadership, aligning site performance with business strategy and driving improvements
- Collaborate with the Technical Manager to develop and maintain site technical standards
- Support operational teams with decision-making relating to quality and compliance
- Lead or participate in the HACCP team, ensuring plans are reviewed, validated, and effectively implemented
- Promote and embed a strong food safety and quality culture across the site
- Analyse performance data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification (essential)
- Level 3 HACCP qualification (essential)
- Experience in a quality role within manufacturing (food industry preferred)
- Previous management experience leading a team
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office systems
- Ability to manage priorities and make informed decisions
- Willingness to travel between sites when required
