We’re Hiring – Meta Ads & Social Media / Lead Generation

SD Plumbing & Heating – Edinburgh

We’re looking for a results-driven marketing person to join SD Plumbing & Heating and take ownership of our Meta advertising, lead generation and social media presence.

This isn’t just a social media posting role.

The main objective is simple: generate a consistent flow of high-quality leads and enquiries for our sales team.

What you’ll be responsible for

Creating, managing and optimising Facebook & Instagram (Meta) advertising campaigns
Generating qualified leads for our key services, including bathrooms, plumbing and heating
Testing different audiences, offers, creatives and campaigns to improve results
Monitoring cost per lead, lead quality and campaign performance
Working closely with our sales team to understand which campaigns are generating enquiries that actually turn into work
Creating engaging photo and video content from our ongoing jobs
Producing before & afters, customer stories, team content, educational videos and project updates
Managing our Facebook and Instagram presence
Developing new ideas and campaigns to increase enquiries and strengthen the SD Plumbing & Heating brand

What we’re looking for

We’re much more interested in results and ability than qualifications.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience running and optimising Meta Ads
A good understanding of lead generation and conversion
Confidence creating short-form video and social content
The ability to analyse campaign performance and make decisions based on the numbers
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive attitude – we want someone who brings ideas rather than waits to be told what to post
Experience marketing a home improvement, construction or local service business would be a big advantage

How we’ll measure success

We’re not looking to measure this role by followers or likes.

We care about:

Qualified leads → Cost per lead → Appointments/quotes → Jobs won → Revenue generated

SEO and Google Ads are already managed separately, so your main focus will be Meta Ads, lead generation, creative campaigns and supporting social content.
