Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Wedding & Events Co-ordinator to lead the planning, organization, and execution of memorable events. Duties

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event goals, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance throughout the planning process
Coordinate all logistical aspects of weddings and events, including venue setup, catering arrangements, entertainment, décor, and technical requirements
Manage vendor relationships by sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet event timelines
Oversee on-site event execution, supervising staff and vendors to guarantee smooth operations from start to finish
Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client satisfaction and maximize revenue opportunities
Develop detailed event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing attendee needs promptly and professionally during events

Experience

Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry, such as hotels or restaurants
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests effectively
Demonstrated ability in time management to meet tight deadlines and handle last-minute adjustments confidently
Experience in fundraising or guest services is a plus, showcasing your ability to engage with diverse audiences and enhance guest experiences
Familiarity with hospitality operations or restaurant environments enhances understanding of service standards and guest expectations
