LCM Environmental is one of the UK’s leading specialists in fuel system maintenance, fuel polishing and environmental services. Due to the award of a new maintenance contract, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Groundworks & Maintenance Assistant to join our Belfast-based operations team.

The Role
Working alongside experienced Fuel System Technicians, you will assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of fuel forecourts and associated infrastructure throughout Northern Ireland.
No previous experience in the fuel industry is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist skilled technicians with scheduled maintenance works.
· Carry out groundworks including excavation, reinstatement and site preparation.
· Support repairs to damaged forecourt infrastructure.
· Assist with pipework installation and repairs.
· Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
· Load and unload equipment and materials.
· Operate hand and power tools safely.
· Complete basic paperwork and digital job records.
· Follow company Health & Safety procedures at all times.
· Travel to customer sites throughout Northern Ireland.
Requirements
- · Full UK driving licence.
· Good practical skills.

· Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
· Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
· Able to work as part of a small professional team.
· Good communication skills.
· Flexible approach to occasional overtime.
Desirable (but not essential):
· Construction or groundworks experience.
· CSCS Card.
· Plant operator experience.
· Plumbing, drainage or civil engineering experience.
· Experience using hand tools and small machinery.
· First Aid qualification.
· Trailer licence.

Working Hours
· Monday to Friday.
· 40 hours per week.
· Overtime available.
· Occasional early starts and overnight stays may be required depending on customer requirements.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
