Overview
Armortek Limited is the world’s leading manufacturer of 1:6 scale metal kits. We are looking for a reliable and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Otterbourne, near Winchester.
This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in operating both CNC mills and lathes and well as be involved in a diverse range of activities.
We have an immediate vacancy and are keen to hear from candidates who can start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading raw materials and parts into CNC mills and lathes
- Operating semi-automated CNC machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out manual finishing operations including deburring, tapping, drilling and linishing
- Inspecting components using measuring and inspection equipment
- Performing routine machine maintenance, including topping up coolant and oil levels and removing swarf
- Maintaining activity logs
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
- Assisting with any other duties appropriate to this post
Requirements
- Previous machine operating experience
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
