Licensing Officer
Full time, 37 hours per week, Permanent
Salary: GR7, £31,022 per annum
Location: Ty Elai, Williamstown
An opportunity has arisen to join the Licensing Team, reporting to the Assistant Licensing Manager within the Public Protection Division of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Licensing Officer to administer and enforce the local authority’s licensing regime. The role involves processing licence applications and fees within statutory and procedural deadlines.
You will be educated to ONC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an appropriate discipline or have experience in a regulatory role. You will also have experience of dealing with the public, analysing and collating information together with using computer-based information systems. Working in partnerships and teams with adaptable communication skills is also key for this role.
The Authority offers flexible working and agile/hybrid working across the Authority to meet the demands of Service, the successful candidate must be willing to work outside of normal office hours and have the ability to travel independently to meet the demands of the post.
