Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
Location: Multi-Site Role | Selca Day Nurseries
Hours: 25–37.5 Hours Per Week
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence, Own Vehicle and Business Insurance Required
Selca Day Nurseries is a rapidly expanding childcare organisation operating across five settings throughout South Wales.
We're looking for a creative, ambitious and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help take our social media, marketing and brand presence to the next level. At Selca, social media isn't an afterthought.
We're proud to have built a strong online presence that showcases daily life within our nurseries, celebrates our teams and gives families a genuine insight into what makes our settings special. In fact, everything you currently see across our social media channels has been created alongside the day-to-day responsibilities of our management team.
Now we're ready for the next step. We're looking for someone whose job is to bring the Selca story to life.
This is not a desk-based role.
You'll spend your time visiting our settings, capturing incredible learning experiences, photographing beautiful environments, creating engaging reels, celebrating staff achievements and showcasing the amazing work taking place across our organisation every day.
One morning you could be capturing a messy play experience in Treforest. By lunchtime you might be creating a reel from a sensory activity in Llanharan. The following day you could be interviewing team members, promoting an open day, supporting a recruitment campaign or creating content highlighting one of our apprentices.
We're looking for someone who loves creativity, understands social media trends, enjoys content creation and can spot those moments that deserve to be shared.
If you're the type of person who constantly has content ideas, enjoys photography and videography, loves storytelling and wants to help shape the future of a growing childcare brand, we'd love to hear from you.

About You
We're looking for someone who is creative, organised, proactive and full of ideas.
Someone who sees a beautifully set-up activity and immediately thinks, "That would make a brilliant reel."

Someone who can walk into a staff training event with microphone in hand, interview team members, create engaging content and make people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Someone who can build relationships quickly, bring energy into a room and help showcase the incredible people, environments and experiences that make Selca special.
You'll need to be confident approaching staff, speaking with families, capturing content across busy nursery environments and spotting the moments that deserve to be shared.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple projects.
- Have a strong eye for detail and presentation.
- Enjoy photography, videography and content creation.
- Understand social media trends and audience engagement.

- Be comfortable working independently across multiple locations.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude.
- Be creative, innovative and willing to bring new ideas to the table.
- Enjoy being part of a fast-paced and growing organisation.
If you're naturally creative, outgoing, proactive and always thinking, "This would make a great post" or "We should film this", you'll fit right in.
