Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and organised Workshop & Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop skills across logistics, operations, and facilities management in a hands-on role.

Ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Shipping Support

· Co-ordinate inbound and outbound shipments for domestic, international road, air and sea freight shipments

· Create all shipping paperwork including Delivery Notes, Commercial Invoices and Certificates of Origin

· Track shipments and ensure deliveries are completed

· Maintain company shipping records

Workshop & Stock Control

· Workshop ordering and purchasing

· Receive all goods delivered to the company

· Carry out inspection of goods received including the checking of damage, quantity and quality

· To adequately pack all orders for safe delivery to customers

· To control all stock parts and maintain stock inventory

· Conduct regular stock checks when required

· Maintain accurate stock records and systems

· Update company asset registers and service history

· Co-ordinate domestic shipping requirements for those to/from customers

· Generate and complete internal paperwork relevant to shipping and role

· Ensure all paperwork is correctly filed and organised.

Facilities Support

· Schedule and co-ordinate planned and reactive maintenance

· Manage purchase orders for ongoing maintenance needs

· Support compliance and assist with routine heath and safety checks

· Maintain accurate documentation and service records

· Monitor contractor performance against service standards and report/action concerns

Requirements

· Strong attention to detail and organisation skills

· Good IT skills (Excel and basic systems)

· Willingness to take on a variety of tasks

· Reliable and able to work as part of a team

(Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, admin, or workshop environments is helpful but not essential.)
