Overview

Door supervisor role!

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS OR DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN BUSY VENUES!

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a confident demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where your presence is vital to the smooth operation of our venue. All positions are paid and require a proactive approach to security management.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorised access and maintain order within the premises
Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all visitors and staff
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, demonstrating calmness and professionalism in emergency situations
Manage crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring a safe environment for all attendees
Record incidents accurately in incident reports and communicate effectively with security team members and management
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or security breaches
Work as part of a team

Experience

Previous experience in security working at busy bars
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is advantageous
Certification in first aid or emergency response is preferred
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and suspicious behaviour recognition
Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Confident in handling challenging situations with professionalism and tact

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
