Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including hotels and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that every guest or client experiences a welcoming and spotless environment.

Weekend Zero hour & bank position available

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, and common areas in hotels or commercial establishments.
Ensure all surfaces are cleaned to the highest standards, including changing bedding, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising.
Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Respond promptly to requests from guests or management regarding additional cleaning needs or special requests.
Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Occasionally assist in light cooking tasks as required, ensuring that kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and clients.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills related to the role.
Drivers license required due to location
