Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Arcade Manager to oversee daily operations at our entertainment centre in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of arcade staff to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of all arcade machines and equipment, organising repairs or replacements as needed.
- Manage guest interactions, resolving issues promptly and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
- Monitor cash handling procedures, including ticketing systems and float management, maintaining accuracy at all times.
- Organise staff rotas, training schedules, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
- Implement health and safety policies in accordance with legal requirements, conducting regular safety checks.
- Develop promotional activities or events to boost centre attendance and maximise guest engagement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the arcade area, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a customer-focused environment, preferably in entertainment or leisure sectors.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with basic maths proficiency for cash handling and reporting tasks.
- Excellent guest service skills, with a friendly approach that enhances visitor satisfaction.
- Previous experience in managing arcade or entertainment centres is advantageous but not essential. Pay: £13.50-£14.53 per hour
