About the Role
To actively manage and monitor export operations to ensure all shipments are accurately processed and tracked, maintaining clear visibility throughout. Identify and resolve any issues efficiently by coordinating with internal teams and liaising with wider network functions and external partners. Ensure all challenges are addressed promptly and safely, minimising disruption and maintaining the smooth flow of operations.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing
- Offloading vehicles of ACS material - Manual Handling
- Processing material through an x-ray machine.
- Monitor the ACS volume material (dimensions and weight) to ensure we are billing the customers correctly.
- Distributing the freight throughout the sort operation targeting specific connection lanes.
- Loading and securing ACS freight in ULD's in accordance to operator variations, GSOP, aircraft limitations in line with AGOM.
- Cross-load and maximizing the containers with ACS to maximize density within the aircraft.
- Dealing with ULD’s that are sent into the HUB by operations due to build-up failures and non-compliance from other HUB’s or Gateways and reporting the incidents accordingly.
- Inspecting shipments for suspected or hidden Dangerous Goods.
- Reporting any forms of non-compliance on the correct reporting tools.
- Forklift operating (mandatory training)
- PPT operating (mandatory training)
- Monitoring inbound flights and truck movements, targeting specific ULD’s for ACS and high priority shipments.
- Communicating & building relationships with other operational teams and management.
- Using various reports and systems (training provided)
- Administration and data entry duties
- Clearance and scanning of freight using AS400 system.
- Reporting issues of non-compliance for documentation and consignment issues.
- Checkpoint compliance of all material to ensure full visibility for our customers.
- Dealing with internal and external customers with any ACS related enquiries.
- Maintaining SSOW (Safe System of Work) safety compliance at all times.

Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers/stakeholders.

Willing to obtain or already hold a forklift B1 license to be able to process all ACS freight
- Willing to be trained on the 5-tonne forklift for when we get heavier builds from the ACS network
- Willing to be trained on advanced ULD qualification or the basic CIS ULD if there is any lapse in training to enable the agents to have access to GSAM so they can see all the operator limitations and restrictions
- Ability to work under high pressure situations using own initiative and knowledge.

Must be competent on basic I.T. equipment due to needing to use and operate numerous different programmes & systems.

A good understanding of the ACS network operation or be willing to learn

A good understanding of the Special Handling Operation as we work alongside them on charter flights containing ACS or be willing to learn

Having a good understanding of what feedback needs to be provided to customers when non-compliant ACS freight are entered into the network to ensure we get the freight moving as quickly as possible.
