About the role:
Due to extensive business growth we are looking for candidates who are keen to further their career in a fast-paced environment. You will involved in all packaging activities including equipment sanitation and set up, preparation of packaging/product materials, operation and troubleshooting of equipment and packing out of finished product for shipment.
Please note that this is shift work. Hours will on a two week rotation, please see below:
Week 1 - Morning shift:
Monday to Thursday 05:45 to 14:00, Friday, 05:45 to 12:45
Week 2 - Afternoon shift:
Monday to Thursday 13:45 to 22:00, Friday 12:30 to 19:30.
Overtime is also available:
Monday to Saturday - Paid Time and a Half
Sunday or Bank Holidays - Double Pay
Main Responsibilities (training will be given)
- Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run.
- Partake in machine set up and changeovers for production runs. This includes following work instructions for equipment set up/ changeovers and following all work standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate packaging equipment, including troubleshooting and making adjustments in accordance with company SOP, as directed.
- Be responsible for packaging semi-finished product into finished product (blister packages or bottles) that are within packaging specifications and meet all quality standards.
- Work alongside maintenance team when mechanical issues arise.
- Develop an understanding of batch record information, using basic mathematical skills, records preparing accurate and complete information.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Previous experience in a Production environment
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions.
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Good computer skills
- Good written skills for the purpose of accurately completing compliance documentation for production runs.
- Basic mathematical skills.
Be aware, heavy lifting is likely to occur in this role.
