We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Stock Controller to join our Operations team in Aston Clinton. Reporting to the Production Planning & Stock Control Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing all onsite inventory.
This role is essential to maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting efficient production flow, and ensuring compliance with internal processes. You will work closely with production, procurement, and other internal teams to maintain optimal stock accuracy and support manufacturing requirements.

Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Support the production schedule through effective inventory planning.

Monitor all stock movements across the site.

Ensure materials are stored, rotated, and handled correctly.

Reduce waste by applying FIFO and other bestpractice methods.

Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Maintain robust and accurate inventory records.

Issue materials to production in a timely and controlled manner.

Receive, inspect, and correctly store inbound materials and finished goods.

Work closely with procurement, production, and other internal teams.

Resolve stock-related issues quickly and effectively.

Ensure accurate and timely communication regarding material availability.

Produce clear and accurate stock reports, variance reports, and inventory metrics.

Present data confidently to support decisionmaking.

Support and promote the company's compliance management system.

Ensure adherence to product compliance obligations, policies, and procedures.

Assist with corrective actions, audit activities, and maintaining compliance registers.

Maintain certifications and documentation where required.

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Understanding of manufacturing processes

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills

Flexible, approachable, and able to work in a fastpaced environment

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly

Qualifications related to manufacturing or operations

Experience in an office, production, or supply planning environment
