Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Solicitor / Conveyancer to join our legal team. We are a long established law firm looking for a hardworking individual who will be able to manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to completion, with minimal supervision. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal career within a reputable firm committed to delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Manage and oversee residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documentation related to property conveyancing
Provide clear legal advice to clients regarding property law, rights, and obligations
Coordinate with clients, estate agents and mortgage brokers to facilitate transactions
Conduct property searches, land registry checks, and other due diligence procedures
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements throughout all stages of conveyancing
Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and properly organised

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years PQE
Proven experience in conveyancing or property law is essential
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with case management systems and legal software
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with professionalism and integrity

The is a permanent, full time position, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Salary dependant on experience.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
