We are looking to recruit two reliable and hardworking Full Time Domestic Cleaner to join our team at Deepdene Court Care Home in Littlehampton. This role is essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Deepdene Care has over 30 years of experience providing high-quality care and support for individuals living with mental health needs. We are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care within a supportive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
Clean communal areas including lounges, bathrooms, kitchens, corridors, and residents’ rooms
Carry out daily and deep cleaning duties as required
Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures consistently
Complete cleaning records and hygiene checks where required
Ensure cleaning equipment is stored safely and maintained appropriately
Support laundry duties when required
Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management
Adhere to COSHH, Health & Safety, and infection control policies at all times
Respect residents’ dignity, privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous cleaning or domestic experience preferred but not essential
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
Understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations (training can be provided)
Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to complete mandatory training
