Full job description

Qualified Electrician Required – Self-Employed

J Electrical Services is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and motivated self-employed electrician to join our growing team.

We have built one of the strongest reputations in the South East for delivering high-quality electrical installations and excellent customer service. If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a friendly, professional team, we'd love to hear from you.

What we offer

Company van provided
Monday to Friday, approximately 7:30am – 5:00pm
Friendly and supportive working environment

Consistent workload with a well-established company

Essential Requirements

Minimum 6 years' experience as a qualified electrician
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Excellent fault-finding skills and a professional attitude

You must have a strong working knowledge and practical experience in:

Domestic Electrical Installations

Full rewires
Partial rewires
Consumer unit replacements
General domestic installations and fault finding

Commercial Electrical Installations

LED lighting installations
Dado trunking
Conduit systems
General commercial electrical work

Industrial Electrical Installations

SWA (armoured) cable installations
Distribution boards and consumer units
General industrial electrical installations

Additional Experience

Fire alarm systems – Medium to high level of experience
Intercom systems – Basic understanding
CCTV installations – Basic installation experience
Electrical inspection, testing and certification – Full understanding

This position is offered on a self-employed basis.
