We are now looking for a Business Development Intern to support our early growth, lead generation, market research, client outreach, and sales development activities.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern, you will support the founders in identifying potential clients, researching UK/EU markets, building sales databases, preparing outreach campaigns, and assisting with client communication.
This is a practical, hands-on role suitable for someone who wants real exposure to B2B sales, digital services, IT consultancy, startups, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential clients across the UK and EU markets
- Build and maintain structured sales lead databases
- Identify decision-makers such as founders, directors, operations managers, and IT managers
- Support cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-up campaigns
- Help prepare client briefs, sales notes, and proposal documents
- Analyse target industries, competitors, and business opportunities
- Assist with CRM updates and internal sales tracking
- Support discovery call preparation and meeting notes
- Contribute ideas for improving Accendrix Forge’s service positioning and outreach strategy
- Work closely with the founders on business development execution
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Interested in business development, sales, marketing, technology, or startups
- Confident in research, communication, and organised working
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Excel/Sheets, and CRM-style databases
- Able to write clear professional messages and emails
- Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
- Good at identifying business opportunities and understanding client needs
- Interested in IT services, SaaS, CRM, ERP, software development, or digital transformation
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of B2B sales or lead generation
- Good written and spoken English
- Market research and competitor analysis skills
- LinkedIn outreach or email outreach experience is a plus
- Knowledge of SaaS, Salesforce, SAP, CRM, DevOps, or software testing is an advantage but not required
