Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to provide expert advice and representation to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to managing legal cases.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation to clients in various matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
Attend court hearings and represent clients as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications.
Collaborate with other legal professionals and stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Skills

Strong organisational skills to manage an independent caseload efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and attitude towards client care.
Strong drafting skills in legal submissions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other IT applications relevant to the role.
A keen eye for detail in all aspects of legal documentation and correspondence.
