Job Description:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to join The Sir Thomas Hotel, a vibrant hotel in Liverpool City Centre, to work closely with our General Manager to ensure the smooth running of all hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Support the daily operation of the hotel across all departments
- Lead, motivate and support team members to maintain high service standards
- Assist with staff supervision, training and rota management
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, company procedures and hotel standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain excellent communication across departments
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous hotel or hospitality supervisory/management experience - this is a must!
- Has excellent leadership and communication skills
- Is organised, proactive and able to work under pressure
- Has a hands-on approach and leads by example
- Is passionate about customer service and guest experience
- Has good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays where required
