About the Role
We are looking for a Programme Co‑ordinator to join our Transitions Hub.
This is a rewarding role supporting learners within our Learning for Life provision, helping students, particularly those with SEND, achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality pastoral support, coordinating learner programmes, and ensuring students progress successfully into further education, employment, or independent living.

Deliver engaging and impactful personal development sessions
- Provide 1:1 pastoral support, reviews, and goal-setting for students
- Monitor and support learner attendance, behaviour, wellbeing, and progress
- Coordinate and support work experience and supported internships
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and work closely with families, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track and analyse progression and destination data
- Support students to develop key personal attributes through enrichment and incentive schemes
- Play an active role in enrolment, open events, and learner voice activities
- Maintain accurate records using college systems
You will be a passionate and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to supporting young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to achieve their full potential.
You will hold a Cert Ed (or equivalent teaching qualification) alongside experience of working with learners with a range of needs, including autism and multiple learning difficulties, within an educational or similar setting.
You will bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- A high level of empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to support learners on a one-to-one basis
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and digital systems
- The ability to analyse and interpret data to monitor learner progress and inform interventions
- A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement
You will also need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
