About the Role

Onyx Bespoke Joinery is looking for a reliable, hardworking Workshop Labourer to join our growing team. You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of our bespoke joinery workshop, assisting with manufacturing, preparation, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in high standards, and wants to develop their skills within a premium bespoke joinery business.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the workshop team with the manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery.
Load, unload and safely move materials throughout the workshop.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Keep the workshop clean, tidy and organised at all times.
Prepare materials for production and assist with finishing tasks.
Help with packing and preparing completed projects for delivery.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a joinery, woodworking, construction or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials safely.
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Punctual, reliable and eager to learn.
A qualification in Carpentry or Joinery is advantageous but not essential.
A full UK driving licence.
