Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse and Receptionist to join our friendly dental practice. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care while efficiently managing reception duties. Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout treatment
Assist dentists during procedures, maintaining infection control standards
Manage appointment scheduling and patient records with accuracy using IT systems
Greet patients warmly, check them in, and handle enquiries professionally
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Provide clear communication regarding treatments, fees, and aftercare instructions
Maintain organised reception area, ensuring smooth daily operations
Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, billing, and updating patient information

Skills

Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar role within a dental practice
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software
Organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain accurate records effectively
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental healthcare is desirable
