We work with a wide range of public and private sector clients including local authorities, contractors, and government agencies. Our projects span assessments, designs, feasibility studies, and technical advisory roles on major infrastructure schemes.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Liverpool city centre office for a Senior Bridge Engineer to complement our talented team.

Located just a two-minute walk from Moorfields Station, our contemporary Liverpool offices boast a prime central location with views of the River Mersey.

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of Highways and Rail structures schemes from concept through to completion, working alongside a team of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities:

Manage projects from concept to completion.
Review and approve design calculations, drawings and specifications in accordance with DMRB and design codes.
Carry out bridge inspections and assessments.
Liaise with clients and contractors.
Mentor junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Extensive experience in bridge design and assessment.
Strong knowledge of key design standards and codes, including DMRB and MCHW.
Ability to assist with structural calculations and analysis, design drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
