Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities

Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, freshness, and presentation standards are met.
Assist in training team members on food safety protocols, culinary techniques, and service standards.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of dishes.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste through efficient food management.
Uphold all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment to ensure a safe working space for everyone.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant setting.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Extensive kitchen experience with a solid understanding of culinary practices and hospitality standards.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Previous restaurant experience with a focus on serving high-quality dishes in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and front-of-house staff.
