Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive environment. This position offers an opportunity to utilise your nursing expertise in a dynamic setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes and the overall wellbeing of those in your care. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and maintained.

Duties

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans and clinical guidelines.
Assess patient needs, monitor vital signs, and document observations accurately.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop, review, and update individualised care plans.
Offer emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and health status.
Lead and supervise junior staff or nursing assistants, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain registration standards and enhance skills.

Requirements

Valid registration as an RGN with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience in general nursing or relevant healthcare settings.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
Excellent organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Compassionate approach combined with professionalism and attention to detail.
