General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Data Management Coordinator to join our Enterprise Excellence Team, based in Merthyr Tydfil. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £34,400 to £43,000 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.
Joining an established team, the successful candidate will have hands on responsibility for the effective and efficient co-ordination of Data Management activities, artefacts and information associated with the SV and Foxhound programmes. To support the programme team(s) and contribute where appropriate in all areas of development, support and release, and interact where required with staff in other functional areas such as Supply Chain, Planning, Performance, Commercial, Quality and Finance. All this to be done in line with standard company policies and procedures as identified in the company Quality Management System (QMS).

Data management of deliverables between GDUK their suppliers, the customer and their agents.

Data management of configuration data items including documents stored in the SV SDE and PDM.

Software management and control of software library
-
Appropriate data handling of artefacts in accordance with ITAR and Data Privacy restrictions

Coordination of the document review process
-
Records management on the SV and Foxhound programmes.

Providing advice and guidance on SV data management processes and procedures
-
Promoting consistent use of SV data management & handling processes and procedures.

Support creation of user accounts for Livelink SVSDE.

Maintain groups and file-plans for GDUK & External parties on SV SDE
To apply for this role, you will require the following:
Essential-
Understand the principles of configuration management and data control
-
Awareness of commercial and legal constraints such as NDAs, ITAR, TAAs

Excellent people management, persuasion and communication skills, determination and tenacity, including ability to work with and influence senior managers.

Ability to work under pressure to very tight deadlines.

Strong experience of using Microsoft Office (especially Word, Powerpoint and Excel)

Able to work additional hours as necessary to accommodate programme needs
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner

Security Clearance or ability to be cleared to SC

Ability to use engineering applications including LiveLink, PDM and Sharepoint to manage the identification, capture, configuration, usage and release of programme artefacts.
Desirable-
Experience of working in a MoD / UK Defence environment

Knowledge and experience in data management and control of software library

Experience of using a content management or records management system

Experience in an office administration role
