Operations Manager – Majestic Hotel Cardiff

About Us

Majestic Hotel Cardiff is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop department managers and hotel staff.
Monitor housekeeping, front office, food & beverage, and maintenance operations.
Conduct regular room and public area inspections to maintain quality standards.
Manage operational costs while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire regulations, and company policies.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Work closely with the General Manager to achieve financial and operational targets.

Requirements

Minimum 5-10 years' experience as an Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager in a hotel in the UK.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations across all departments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with hotel PMS systems is desirable.
Strong understanding of guest service standards and operational controls.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
