Full job description

Albert Rees Ltd / Carmarthen Deli are looking for a new team member to support the continued growth of Carmarthen Ham.

This is a varied role focused around slicing, packing and preparing Carmarthen Ham and other artisan products, while also supporting the wider business as we continue to grow.

We are looking for someone organised, reliable and detail-focused who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a close-knit team.

The role may include:

Slicing and packing Carmarthen Ham
Vacuum packing and labelling
Preparing wholesale and customer orders
Stock rotation and organisation
Supporting production and preparation upstairs
Assisting at food shows and festivals in the future

We’re looking for someone who:

Has good attention to detail
Takes pride in doing things properly
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is dependable and willing to learn
Has an interest in food production or artisan food

Experience in food production or catering would be helpful, but full training can be given for the right person.

This role could suit:

Someone experienced in food production
Someone looking for a quieter behind-the-scenes role
An enthusiastic apprentice or school/college leaver wanting to build a career in the food industry

Hours can potentially be shaped around the right candidate.
