Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our small kitchen team in family run hotel in the countryside. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation and hygiene regulations knowledge. As a chef, you will deliver the highest standards of food safety and quality, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure efficient food service in fast paced kitchen.
Prepare dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards.

Requirements

Experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with staff and management.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
