Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Manicurist to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional nail care services while providing a welcoming and professional experience for clients. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a vibrant salon environment, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied with their look. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Perform a variety of manicure and nail treatments, including shaping, polishing, cuticle care, and specialised nail art if qualified
Apply makeup as requested by clients to enhance their overall appearance
Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
Provide personalised advice on nail care, colour choices, and trending styles to clients
Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques in nail artistry and makeup application
Handle client queries professionally, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention

Requirements

Proven experience as a Manicurist or in a similar role within the beauty industry
Proficiency in makeup application is desirable but not essential
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Excellent communication skills to understand client preferences and provide tailored advice
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering high-quality beauty treatments
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
