Overview

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations by providing excellent front-desk support and administrative assistance. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, representing the organisation with professionalism and courtesy. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable office skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors, residents' families and professionals in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer and direct telephone calls, taking accurate messages where required.
Respond to emails and general enquiries.
Manage the reception area and maintain visitor records.
Prepare letters, documents and correspondence using Microsoft Word.
Update spreadsheets and records using Microsoft Excel.
Scan, photocopy, print and file documents.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
Order office supplies and distribute incoming post.
Provide general administrative support to the management team.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR and company policies.
Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties as required.

Requirements

Previous reception or administration experience is desirable.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to prioritise work and manage a busy workload.
Friendly, reliable and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
